An introduction to complementary therapies for companion animals
Two day workshop aiming to introduce students to the benefits of holistic and complementary therapies for our companion animals. The workshops aim to discuss and look at reasons for the increase in people turning towards a more natural, holistic approach to caring for their pets.
The course will cover an overview and look at the following, various complementary therapies:
- Flower remedies
- The use of herbs and herbal remedies
- Aromatherapy
- Crystals
- Reiki and natural healing techniques
- The benefits of a natural diet
Finally, the workshop will cover a look at palative care for companion animals: how to maximise comfort and reduce stress and anxiety with the aid of natural methods and knowing when to let go.
